Basic seminar - Fundamentals of industrial automation

Automation Studio is used to configure and program all B&R automation components. Core issues such as getting a clear overview of all product groups, initial commissioning of a controller, understanding the functions of the runtime environment and using the options for integrated configuration and diagnostics will be shown. Use of IEC programming languages, numerous standard libraries and the integrated help system ensure that nothing is standing in the way of a successful start to the project.

Advanced seminar - Data processing and connectivity

In addition to providing traditional control functionality, Industry 4.0 and smart factory concepts indicate that today's controllers must also be able to record and prepare data for higher-level systems while communicating with a wide range of devices in a network of machines. Electrical drive technology - Optimally adapted to the machine

B&R drive solutions are configured, put into service and diagnosed using Automation Studio. Uniform, PLCopen-compliant software interfaces make it easy to program and combine a variety of different drive components in the machine. With mapp Technology, you can configure, program and diagnose the drive software all at the same time. This saves time and allows you to focus on the functionality of the drive rather than the programming itself. Mechatronic functions - Signal processing and closed-loop control in the control system

The discipline of mechatronics in automation technology combines mechanical, electrical and information technology elements. Model-based control and automatic code generation for B&R controllers using MATLAB/Simulink

Model-based design and virtual testing of controlled systems have become indispensable for commercial development. MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape are the ideal tools for achieving this. The control algorithm is taken from Simulink and added to the Automation Studio project using automatic code generation. After initially setting up the project, control system programming is done "at the push of a button".
