Secure Remote Maintenance: fast, easy and secure
Service anywhere in the world
Offer service and maintenance of your machines to customers all over the world, or simply keep an eye on your own assets. With B&R's solution, service technicians and engineers can access machines from anywhere in the world to retrieve logbook entries, application data and much more. Technicians can quickly service multiple plants and machines to minimize downtime without costly travel time in between.
State-of-the-art security
Data is transferred securely between the SiteManager on the machine and a remote GateManager using an encrypted, certificate-protected VPN connection. The SiteManager's integrated firewall provides additional protection.
Access rights to the machine by service technicians is governed by GateManager and its integrated machine pool management system. Remote access can also be enabled explicitly using a key switch, which can be connected to the SiteManager's inputs and outputs.
Easy to use
Secure Remote Maintenance from B&R is easy to use. You don't need to be an IT specialist to set it up, either. Access rights to the machine are managed intuitively in the GateManager via drag and drop. Using B&R's SiteManager also saves time and money, since it only needs to be configured once for use on different machines.
Additional advantages with Automation Studio
Like all other B&R hardware, the SiteManager can be configured in our Automation Studio software. That means there is no additional configuration required upon delivery, so the machine can be commissioned even faster.
In line with major standards
Secure Remote Maintenance complies with major IT and security standards. There's no need for additional open ports, so it is easy to implement in your company network.
Pick the perfect remote maintenance solution for you
B&R's Secure Remote Maintenance components can be combined as needed. Put together the remote maintenance solution that works best for you.
